BuildIn AI exists for the gap between a pretty render and a buildable project. The design is the start; the plan, the materials and the steps are the product.
What we do
Upload a photo and describe the yard you want. BuildIn AI drafts a design, resolves it into components with real dimensions, and assembles an indicative material list, local permit readings with their official sources, and step-by-step construction guidance. The first fully supported component is the composite deck; more are on the roadmap.
What we are not
We are not a contractor, an engineer or a quote. We do not select, vet or connect contractors or engineering firms. Material costs are labelled estimates, not prices; permit readings are informational, and the binding rule is your local building department’s. Structural, electrical, gas and permit-regulated work may require a qualified professional.
How the numbers work
The calculator, the design and the plan use the same estimator. Every cost appears as a range with stated assumptions; a failed generation refunds its credits automatically.

Product decisions are made by the BuildIn AI team. Permit and wildfire material is compiled from the official sources linked on each page; cost figures come from the same estimator the product uses. Corrections go through support and are applied to the page and its source list.
